 Falcon Engineering LTD, New Zealand announces the creation of its new USA company, Falcon Engineering USA, LLC to market its NEW unique Acoustic Timber Grading product, the A-Grader. The A-Grader sorts timbers used in structural applications into different grades. 

Sid Ely has been appointed as President of the new Falcon Engineering USA, LLC. Sid brings to Falcon Engineering USA his 14 years experience in the Wood Products Finishing arena along with experience of working closely with Wood Machinery and Finishing Equipment Dealers throughout the US and Canada. 

 Falcon Engineering unique A-Grader Acoustic Grader has been approved by the American Lumber Standard Committee (ALSC) and was introduced to the US market in June 2007.

Falcon Engineering announces the appointment of Scan Gear LLC, Portland, OR and Cone Machinery Inc., Thomasville, GA as Master Distributors for the unique A-Grader Acoustic Timber Grader and D-Split Density Sorter.

Falcon Engineering USA, LLC. announces the availability of a NEW CD showing and demonstrating Falcon Engineering's unique Acoustic Grader the A-Grader. 

 Falcon Engineering working along with Forest Research Institute (Scion) has recently developed a NEW Microwave technology to detect and locate water pockets in timber. This system was developed as a result of a segment of the market that wanted higher performance in the determination of wood density and a method to determine pockets of high water content in appearance timber.
