Precisely machined from heavy gauge steel, the Coating Application Extruder Box (CAEB) operates with a unique two-piece template that floats to accommodate any change in substrate dimension.
The template plates are machined to the size of the substrate and are held together with two air cylinders for each pair of templates. The air cylinders keep a constant pressure of the template to the substrate thus assuring consistent and even coating application while minimizing the amount of coating left on the surface.
Templates are designed to float as much as 1/16" while the line is running.
Depending on the coating consistency, the CAEB will operate at the same line speed as your moulder or planer.
Automatically filling cracks & holes as it exits the planer or moulder.
